Newry Christmas Markets

We were delighted to support the delivery of the first-ever Newry Christmas Markets, working alongside Noelle Blair at Room Angelz to help bring a festive new event to the heart of the city. Running from 20 November to 21 December, the markets transformed Newry into a winter wonderland of artisan stalls, food, entertainment and seasonal cheer. Our work focused on supporting communications and promotion for the launch of this new initiative, helping to build excitement and awareness across the region.

Mackle helped the Market welcome over 65k visitors into the city centre, helping to firmly establish the location as a place to visit, dwell, spend, and support local businesses during the festive period. There was over 3m views across social media with PR coverage across local and regional media, radio and TV.

Delivered in collaboration with Karen Maginn (MCIM) and Beyond The Branding, the project combined strong partnerships, creative energy and a shared ambition to create something truly special for Newry.
